In September 2015 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Porsche unveiled the revolutionary and performance filled Mission E – the first all-electric concept from Porsche. Now, ahead of a road-going Mission E release, Porsche have unveiled the Mission E Cross Turismo. Featuring a low-cut bonnet and heavily curved wings, the Mission E Cross Turismo is unmistakably Porsche; sharing distinctive design DNA with the iconic Porsche 911.
In the form of a Cross Utility Vehicle (CUV) with a Sport Turismo inspired silhouette, the Porsche Mission E Cross Turismo demonstrates Porsche design and technology that could possibly make an appearance in the future range of Mission E vehicles.
"The Mission E Cross Turismo is an expression of how we envision the all-electric future. It combines sportiness and everyday practicality in unique style. Our vehicle will be fast to drive, but also quick to recharge and able to replicate its performance time after time," commented Oliver Blume, CEO of Porsche AG.
The Mission E Cross Turismo presents a picture as to what a Turismo model with features of a crossover utility vehicle could look in series production – a car that is equally suitable for travelling, everyday life and adventure, filling the role of a versatile companion both in the city and in the countryside.
